STATEMENT OF THE ARTIST 
This project intends to merge the artistic creation and the sun’s energy.
The hill with its viewing platform is shaped to provide a beautiful view to the sun dials, the stone riddle, the biotope,
the butterfly lawn, the rose garden and the solar panels. Above all it integrates nature.
I have been dealing with sun dials in the nature for quite some time.

Sunlight is a basis of our universe. Sun dials are signs of the sun.

The horizontal sun dial, with a diameter of 7m, is integrated into a special  viewing platform.
The time can be read off round natural stones, each row of stones represents one hour. The stones come from Austrian rivers like the Drau, Möll and  Lieser.
The pointer, a forged bar of 6m in length, points directly to the polar star. Using calculations, it is possible to determine the time accurately.
This sun dial is a popular object, inviting people to communicate. The power and energy of the sun can be felt.
